Twestival Tokyo is back! - SEPTEMBER 12TH 2009!

We are pleased to announce after the success of Tokyo’s inaugural Twestival on February 12th 2009, that Twestival will be making a return to Tokyo on SEPTEMBER 12TH 2009. The theme this time round is Twestival Local.

We really want to reignite the passion and the fervour around the events this spring - there was a great sense of optimism and hope that, in our own small way, by tweeting, meeting, and giving, we were helping to make the world a better place.

That was something really powerful, and it came with very tangible benefits for charity - globally we raised ¥25m ($250,000). That money changed a lot of lives.

We’re getting involved because we believe we can do even better than that this time round. Let’s get involved and make this an amazing success for Japan and for Asia.

WHEN IS TWESTIVAL TOKYO?
Twestival Tokyo will be on September 12th 2009, venue TBC

HOW DO I GET TICKETS?
We will be making an announcement about tickets in the near future, please watch this space.

HOW MUCH WILL TICKETS COST?
We will be looking to keep tickets around the ¥1000 mark, as before. We want to keep access as open as possible, particularly to younger Twitter users, whilst ensuring that we raise money for charity.

WHICH CHARITY WILL TWESTIVAL LOCAL TOKYO BE SUPPORTING?
We will be crowdsourcing the choice of charity, so watch this space for an announcement.
